Every season we introduce more and more Organic T-shirts and Ethical clothing, to enable you to look good whilst doing good. Here are the certification organisations that our suppliers are involved with. Your ethical T-shirt will have some of the following logos above depending on whether the item is made from organic cotton, organic bamboo, customized or ethically made.
Here are some of the Organizations that have certified our products:-
Fair Wear Foundation
Factories have been strictly audited during the production of this garment, to ensure all ethical practices are in place, during the manufacture of your ethically made piece.
The code of labour practices contains the following main provisions:
Labour standards that meet the internationally formulated standard of the International Labour Organisation:
No forced labour
No discrimination
No child labour
Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
Payment of a living wage
No excessive overtime
A safe and healthy workplace
A legally-binding labour contract
The Dutch company regularly performs audits of labour conditions at all its ethical garment suppliers, and carries out corrective action plans where necessary. Audits are carried out not just at the factories that directly deliver to the Dutch company, but also at their subcontractors, in as far as they produce for the Dutch company.
Labour conditions in the factories are improved by means of a step-by-step approach. It is usually impossible to bring the labour conditions up to the level of the ILO standards at once.
Independent verification of the implementation of the code of conduct by FWF. FWF checks whether labour conditions are in accordance with the labour standards, and whether improvements are actually carried out. This takes place by means of unannounced visits to production companies, a complaints procedure for workers and others, and checking the books of the Dutch company.

CONTROL UNION
This garment has been certified by Control Union.
Textile certification (formally known as SKAL)
Control Union Certifications offers two certification programmes for sustainable textile production.
These two programmes are:
-EKO Sustainable Textile certification using GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), and
-Organic Exchange certification
The "Supply of dyes and processing aids" module is not a real certification programme. Rather, it is an assessment of conformity to the Sustainable Textile programme for specific dyes and processing aids that are used in the production of textile and textile products.
The Organic Exchange certification programme allows you to claim a traceable percentage of certified organic cotton.

The Soil Association
Created sustainably protecting relationships between the soil, plants, animals, people and the biosphere.
The Soil Association organic symbol is the UK's largest and most recognisable trademark for organic produce.
Wherever you see it you can be sure that the food you have purchased has been produced and processed to strict animal welfare and environmental standards. The Soil Association has probably the highest and most comprehensive standards for organic production and processing in the world.
Soil association standards not only meet the UK government's minimum requirements but in many areas are higher. This is particularly true with animal welfare (for example, pigs and poultry) and the use of pesticides.
